Motoblouz x Fitizzy: in pursuit of better customer support
MOTOBLOUZ, A FEW KEY DATES
Founded in 2004 in the Nord Pas-de-Calais by Thomas Thumerelle and David Thiry, Motoblouz.com is published by the company D3T Distribution. The core business of Motoblouz is the distribution of riders’ gear and motorcycle accessories. Keen to respond better to what its customers were asking for, the company turned its attention to developing its own products as early as 2008. After the rapid growth typical of a startup, in 2010 Motoblouz acquired the rival site access-moto.com, a recognised specialist in spare parts for motorcycles and scooters. A second opportunity of the same kind came along a few years later: in 2014, Motoblouz bought Motoligne.com.
From April 2015, Motoblouz opened up internationally. Spain, then Italy, both of which soon had a site localised for their market.
In 2016, Motoblouz joined the Equistone Partners Europe fund, majority shareholder in POLO Motorrad and Sportswear GmbH (German) and Sportsbikeshop (British), to underpin that international expansion.
ENTHUSIASTS AT THE SERVICE OF ENTHUSIASTS
Motoblouz is a love story between motorcyclists and the web…
With steady growth of 30%, the company has settled into a trend of profitability and double-digit growth ever since it was founded.
It is trusted by over 800,000 customers, 15% of them women, and draws on a database that is unique in France, since it covers 30% of French motorcyclists.
Over 300 brands put their trust in Motoblouz, among them Alpinestars, Ixon, Shark, Bering and Furygan.
DISCOVER DEXTER
As early as 2008, the company launched its own equipment brand: DEXTER.
Since then, the products developed in-house have never stopped evolving.
Thanks to a dedicated team formed in 2015, the ranges have broadened, covering more segments, from riders’ gear to motorcycle parts.
FITIZZY ON THE MOTOBLOUZ.COM SITE
Customer satisfaction is a priority at Motoblouz. Driven by a team of enthusiasts, the company listens to its customers and works every day to advise and support motorcyclists and scooter riders. Their gear matters just as much as the rider who is going to wear it.
What is more, how well a garment fits takes on its full importance with this kind of product, where safety is at stake.
The size recommendation solution offered by Fitizzy is a mark of confidence that Motoblouz gives its customers. It reassures, supports and builds loyalty in a context where doubt and hesitation over choosing a size should give way to a passion for the open road.
In that sense, Fitizzy allows brands to improve their online conversion and protect their margin from the impact of size-related returns.
